1. Dombay — a legendary mountain resort located at an altitude of 1600 meters surrounded by relict fir forests. Cable cars lift you to over 3000 meters to Mount Mussa-Achitara, from where the majestic Belalakaya, Ine Peak, and other giant peaks are visible. In winter, it is a ski center; in summer, a base for trekking.
2. Arkhyz — a picturesque mountain valley called the Caucasian Switzerland. Here are the famous Zelenchuk temples of the 10th century — the oldest Christian shrines on the territory of Russia. Mountain lakes with turquoise water, Sofia Waterfalls, and alpine meadows make Arkhyz a place of power and beauty.
3. Bermamyt Plateau — a natural observation deck at an altitude of over 2500 meters, offering the best panoramic view of Elbrus. At dawn and sunset, the glaciers are painted in pink and golden tones. Maly Bermamyt is famous for its bizarre rock remnants.
4. Sofia Waterfalls — powerful cascades plunging from a multi-meter height among the rocks of the Arkhyz Gorge. The water of glacial origin remains icy even at the height of summer, and rainbows play over the waterfalls in the sun’s rays.
5. Aul Ali-Berdukovsky — an authentic Circassian settlement where you can immerse yourself in the traditional way of life of the Adyghe people.
